Description

There is inadequate signage for the rightmost lane ending. During heavy EB traffic (between 4-6 PM weekdays) many cars do not seem to know the lane ends, causing merging trouble and huge slowdowns. These slowdowns spill into all adjacent lanes, slowing traffic as a whole.
Currently, there is one MUTCD W4-2 warning of the ending lane. This is inadequate. There needs to be more signage or roadway markings to keep traffic flowing more smoothly.
