Thanks for submitting this issue via connectUpperDublin. The library will alert Township Facilities staff so that they can investigate how to best remedy the odor issue so that the bathrooms smell better! We appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
Thank you for submitting an issue via connectUpperDublin. We are working to continuing to work to address the issue as soon as possible. We will notify you of the progress through app messages and/or emails.
Township facilities staff and an outside contractor investigated the library bathroom vents and the feasibility of adding power vents. Unfortunately, due to how the vents are connected to the building HVAC system, changing the current library bathroom ventilation would require an extensive facilities project, beyond adding the power vents.
Library staff will continue to monitor the issue in case of persistent and worsening odor conditions. We will also increase the use of air fresheners in the library bathrooms, which we hope will alleviate any unpleasant odors.
Thank you, again. We appreciate your help in improving our Township.
